Tulip Festival in Kashmir
Mountainous Kashmir decks up like a new bride each spring. Gorgeous to behold, with carpets of flowers, the sun reflecting like gold off its snow peaks, and the smell of fresh woods in the air. Spring also is the season for the blossoming of tulips in Kashmir. Beds of rolling fields of the tulip flower adorn Kashmir during the first weeks of April. At this time, the Tulip Festival is celebrated.
